The Importance of a Helmet

As a mother of two very active boys, I know how difficult it can sometimes be to get them to remember safety gear as they fly down a hill on their bikes. But they must be reminded never the less. Helmets save lives whether snowboarding, skateboarding or bicycling. I have pointed out that some of the “coolest dudes” in those sports wear helmets. Helmets of all types can be picked up at any sporting goods store or online and if the prices seem too high, there’s always a ski swap or garage sales where you will find snowboarding helmets, bike and skate helmets, and other safety gear.
