Home School

I started searching for good phonics programs when I decided to home school my five year old daughter. One of the programs uses groups or families of words based on the sound they make at the end. If children learn the simple word “at,” it becomes much easier to learn words in a group, such as cat, hat, bat, and sat. It is fun and will keep a child’s attention better than some other methods. Even I had fun trying to think of all the rhyming words I could. My child actually loves it when we work on the phonics program, and it doesn’t seem like work at all.
