Accrediting Agencies for Online RN to BSN Programs

The U.S. Department of Education together with the Council for Higher Education Accreditation have granted authorization to several agencies or associations to give accreditation to particular nursing programs that have the capability to meet the strict requirements basically geared toward an excellent quality of education. Some of these agencies which are also accrediting online RN to BSN programs are the National League of Nursing Accrediting Commission (NLNAC) which is considered to be the largest nursing accrediting association in the U.S. and the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE) that has also granted many accreditations to most nursing programs including those offered online.
