No, this was an error of both parties and it was an error that both parties believed and an error that most of America believed. We WANT people to own their own home improvement tips. We WANT people to have property. We believe that is a social good. Both the left and the right believe this. The problem is that this moral belief ran smack into economic reality. We may all want to fly, but flapping our arms will not change the laws of aerodynamics or the laws of gravity. Likewise, we may all want people to own their own home, but that will not change the basic laws of economics that home ownership is not in everyone’s best interest.

I certainly felt as if I was in a candy store when I was six years old. I grabbed the industrial needs that I had to buy for my new factory. If you shop you know that pet food has increased in price lately. I usually buy canned dog food to top my dogs dry dog food. That was a treat that has grown into a habit. Now he expects it. Yes, I know I spoil my dog. But I intend to keep buying canned dog food along with dry dog food. Because Im on a fixed budget, price increases matter. Yesterday, I went to Wal-Mart to buy some canned dog food and my brand had increased ten cents a can. Not too long ago, the dry dog food brand increased one dollar a bag. Because I feed a large breed, I have to buy dog food on a regular basis. So I have done something I have never done in my life. I have begun using coupons to reduce the price and attempt to offset inflation. Im not alone though. People now openly pull out their coupons in the pet food aisle and calculate savings between brands before buying a bagit has come to that.
