Melbourne the Foodie Capital

By admin | February 28, 2010

You know I have never really thought of Sydney as the food capital of Australia. Foodwise I have always been more excited about Melbourne than Sydney. IN the Sydney suburbs it has long been almost completely limited to Italian, Chinese – which is fast being replaced nby Thai – or Indian. If you live in a suburb rich in a particular culture then you are more likely to find foods of that region such as specifically Cantonese, or Vietnamese. On the whole thought it has always seemed a but limited and unexciting in suburbia. That is why I am so happy to report one of the best tapas restaurants in Concord has recently opened. It is fusion food with a North AFrican twist on traditional Tapas, and a great range of breakfast and lunch dishes as well. A new flavour sensation in a restaurant with some flair and excitement has come to my suburb at last!
