How is Your Life Insurance Rate Figured

In order to determine the rate of your Life Insurance Premium the agent will take a few things into factor. First an insurance agent will calculate the premium by looking at how long you are expected to live. The younger and better healthy you are in the less you are likely to pay. The agent is in away beating you will live long enough to pay a significant amount of the policy yourself. Health issues are also likely to effect your rate. If you have high blood pressure or cholesterol you are seen as a higher risk. Smoking also makes you a higher risk. These are all things the agent takes into consideration.
