A Place for My Daughter

When my daughter told me that she wanted to go to graduate school in New York City, I told her that we should get a listing of apartments for lease close to the school and find a place right away. I had heard that student apartments sometimes have waiting lists, and she wanted to go the very next semester. We got a list of places and started calling around, and it was a good thing that we started early because only a few places had openings. We did find a great place for her within walking distance of school, and it turned out that and they also needed help in their office so she got a part time job out of the deal as well.
