I Used Spray Foam Insulation to Keep the Heat in My Writing Retreat

By admin | February 8, 2010

When my dad said that I could wall off a section of the old barn for my personal space, I was thrilled. As a budding writer, I really need a quiet corner to call my own. The only problem was that the barn is unheated and drafty. I decided to go to the extra work of having some spray foam insulation applied and a little wood stove hooked up in my “artist’s corner.” Now I can go out to my retreat and write to my heart’s content. I don’t know how long it will take to write something that is worthy of publishing, but at least I have a place in which to do it.
