Testosterone is not your enemy.

By admin | December 27, 2009

You may think elevated testosterone is your enemy but it’s not. It’s high estrogen that is the enemy you want to avoid. Too many doctors without the necessary herbal knowledge will tell you that you need to start lowering testosterone levels so you can protect your prostate health. Too bad that’s the last thing you should do. If you look at this chemically, you’ll see the two enemies to your prostate are estrogen and DHT, not testosterone! When your testosterone metabolizes DHT is the by-product your body makes. It is necessary to keep your organ big and strong, but it is not good at all for your prostate or even the hair cells on your head. Decreasing your testosterone levels is not going to help because then your estrogen levels just get higher.
