Rebooting an ATM
By admin | March 18, 2010
Working for a bank can be a major headache. Twice last weekend our ATM system went down and I had to call in for a repair. Thankfully the company we contract with can do a computer reboot right over the phone, but I have to be at the bank. I cannot make the call from my house as it has to be from the bank’s phone line or the reboot will not work. This is very aggravating as I was the only one on call last weekend and I had family visiting from out of town. One co-worker just had a baby and the other went in for an emergency appendectomy. We need to get the bank to authorize more employees to handle this task.
